I have seriously had this book on my kindle for almost a year! Not sure what took me so long to read it but I am thrilled that I did!! I completely understand the large number of 5 star reviews!! I LOVED IT!!

I mean, I loved it so much that I can't stop thinking about Nox and Lily, and it's been a few days now!! What an amazing couple and a crazy, strange situation to bring them together. It was kind of original and I really just want more, more, more!!

I wasn't sure what to expect, I mean despite the cover and title, I knew it wasn't a dark romance but I didn't expect to laugh throughout. Not that I think it was really supposed to be funny but some of Lily's internal dialogue had me laughing right out loud. I loved her crazy spirit and I actually hurt for her when she went on her little unexpected hunger strike of sorts. Now....Nox, he was just delish! Right from the beginning you knew there was so much more to this quiet, strong, brooding man - and who better to bring that amazing man out that sweet(and sassy) Lily!!

Oh, and yeah, I cried at the end, and a little in the middle! But I promise a HEA :) Enjoy y'all!

Samanthe Beck has done it again! Move over Trevor (Lover Undercover) and Michael (Falling for the Marine), because Logan has become my favorite McCade brother! Mmmhmm! Logan and Sophie's story blew me away!

I just adored Sophie. Although usually shy, awkward, and self-conscious, Sophie arrives at her brother's wedding determined to be “New Sophie”, and she can't even believe gorgeous, “Mr. Perfect” Logan wants to spend time with her. Despite the favor Logan is trying to fulfill, I loved how I was convinced that these two were truly meant for each other. Between hilarious and tender moments, Logan gradually pulls Sophie out of her shell. She, in turn, shows him that there's more to life than working all the time. These two were absolutely explosive together!!! Certain scenes were just so yummy and hot, hot, hot!!!

“There are a lot of things I plan to do to you, and yes, you probably will scream, but not because you have a low pain tolerance.”

Other than having read the prequel Dare to Resist, I have not read the other stories in the Wedding Dare series yet. I loved how in Best Man with Benefits we get little enticing snippets here and there on what's going on with the other characters in this series. The timeline for the Wedding Dare stories all seem to cover the days leading up Colt and Kady's wedding, so if you want to know what happens to the other bridesmaids and groomsmen, you'll need to read their own stories. I know I'm going to make time to read them all now. Thank you, Samanthe Beck, for making me laugh, cry, and swoon with Best Man with Benefits! I'll be dreaming about Logan for a long time.

When I read Poughkeepsie back in 2011, I knew that there had to be more. The story of the kick-ass assassin and the ultimate bad boy seemed unfinished. Those that know the background of Eve and Beckett know that it seems so impossible for them to be together. In Return to Poughkeepsie all of our favorite characters return, a whole slew of new characters are introduced, and we're taken down an unexpected, wild and crazy path that will leave you craving more. I adore the way Ms. Anastasia weaves a story. She doesn't just focus on one couple. In this sequel we get a continuation of the stories of all three relationships, and so much happens to each and every one.

Blake & Livia...how beautiful it is to see their love continue to deepen and grow and create a family. A terrifying ordeal ends up strengthening their bond even more. Blake fans, you will melt all over again for him, his tender heart, and his love for Livia's smiles.

Men know to cover the family jewels in her presence. Beckett, oh, how I heart you! He wants to turn good for Eve's sake, so he continues to stay away and work on turning himself into someone worthy. I love how he's written to be so selfless! For Beckett, his loved ones are always a priority. If you have a good heart, Beckett will have your back.

Return to Poughkeepsie has the crazy and funny swirled with the action, suspense, and angst. It also flows with lots of heart and love all around. So many things happen all at once. You'll be wondering what the heck is going on and where Beckett went, but there is a method to all the madness. I appreciate the attention given to the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood. It was nice returning to this familiar place. Things end on a happy-for-now note. So much goes down between Eve and Beckett that I just don't know how Ms. Anastasia will grant them their true HEA. I can't wait to find out in Poughkeepsie #3!!!

Debra Anastasia is busy, just like every other mom. There's dinner, the dogs, the two kids, the two kids, and her ongoing battle with...ahem... digestive issues, which combined with her adolescent boy sense of humor makes for colorful and sometimes cringe-worthy social media updates. Her first love and crowning achievement is her thriving career as the weirdest mom on the block.

Her writing started a decent handful of years ago when--along with the animals and humans in her house--the voices of characters started whispering stories in Debra's ear. “I want to take you here against the wall, make you all mine, do you want that, Tash? Tell me you want that too.” 

I have huge smile on my face. Like, HUGE. Why you ask? Three reasons:

One: This story fucking rocked. 

Two: LOVE the characters: Natasha (a.k.a. Tash), Tudor (how awesome is that name for a Hero?), John (a.k.a Tink) and Tate are all so fantastic. I can’t gush about them enough. 

Three: There’s going to be sequel. Happy Dance!! 

Loved. This. Book.

I couldn’t deny that he was all muscle and pure gorgeousness. Bad attitude though. What a bloody shame. 

Tash wanted change. She just caught her now ex-boyfriend in a very compromising position. To top it all off, he was very unapologetic about it, too…just pure sleeze! Her plan? To seize the day. So what does she do? With the support of her fairy-BFF, Tink, they’re off to start a new life in Calgary, Canada. How they chose Canada, well, just read and find out. It’ll make you chuckle :) 

Anyway, once they settled, Tash starts her new teaching job at a very prestigious private school where she’s been given a side project as well: To reach out to the troubled students. One of the student’s is Boleyn Jones. What she doesn’t know, and will soon find out, is that Boleyn is actually the little sister of A-list, bad-boy actor, Tudor North. The first meeting between the two is pretty entertaining itself. He was nothing but rude and full of attitude towards Tash, but according to Tink, he couldn’t take his eyes off her all night. What stick crawled up his arse?

“Tudor said that you are like a sunflower to him; strong, bright and beautiful, and a reminder to everyone that the sun will always shine again, no matter what happens.” 

Tudor North doesn’t let anyone in. His life is mess, but somehow, this spunky Brit is seeping through the little cracks in his highly guarded armor. Her curves, her smiles, her humor is something Tudor needs in his life; no wonder he was instantly smitten. However, he harbors a secret that prevents him from actively pursuing her, but no matter how hard he tries to keep her at arms’ length, his restraint is slowly breaking.

“You are an absolute mind-fuck.” ~ Tash 

Tash, you aren’t kidding, chick. Lots of emotions arise in this story, especially coming from the brooding Tudor. He is so fucking intense, but oh, so broken. Beneath that tough exterior, Tudor is so vulnerable. I lost count at how many times, I cried at his constant struggles. He tries so hard to hide himself and his feelings, it was so sad. Will he ever let Tash in? 

“Natasha Munro, you have completely bewitched me. I would like – no, I know I could be everything to you. But it’s impossible.” 

I loved so many things about this book. There’s the brooding, tattooed bad-boy actor, Tudor North (see my version above,Yummm!! ). The way he turns in to such a softie in Tash’s presence was so cute! He’s just an amazing person. Then there’s Tash, the British heroine, with an uber cool Geordie accent (she actually pronounces Tudor like Chew-da and yes, I guiltily YouTubed Geordie accent…so freaking awesome, I tell ya **grins** ). She isn’t your typical skinny minnie heroine; this woman has some serious curves. What I loved most about her are her humor and bright outlook in life. She really is a ray of sunshine.

Oh! And I cannot forget about Tash’s BFF and soulmate, Tink. His antics with Tash are the bomb. He is freaking High-freaking-larious! The way these two banter, calling each other names likeWilbur, Tink, sausage, fairy…etc is so funny and they do it with so much love behind it, you can’t help but just love their relationship. I want to be let into their inner circle. 

I laughed, I cried, I smiled (a lot) and I loved (a lot). I seriously cannot wait for the continuation of this story. Loved it!
