BLOG TOUR ~ Redemption (Vincent & Eve #3) by Jessica Ruben

We're celebrating the release of REDEMPTION by Jessica Ruben! Get ready to binge read this best selling series!

Cover by: Okay Creations
Adult Contemporary Romance
NOW AVAILABLE!!

SYNOPSIS
Vincent
Through every drop of blood I spilled, I lost a piece of my soul. I’ve sacrificed seven long years and the woman of my life for the Family. With prison behind me, I’m finally taking the reins of my destiny. I won’t allow the choices of my past to define my future. But I’m not done fighting—not yet.

Eve is still out there.

I will stop at nothing to get her back.

Eve
After having my heart torn out by the son of the biggest crime family in New York, I was forced to start over in California. With three thousand miles between me and my past, life is finally set on cruise control. I’m a lawyer at one of the best law firms in the country, I own my apartment, and I even have a doting boyfriend by my side.

As for love?

It’s not worth the fight.

*Redemption (Vincent and Eve Book 3) is the final book in the Vincent and Eve trilogy. You must read Rising (Vincent and Eve Book 1) and Reckoning (Vincent and Eve Book 2) in order to enjoy the conclusion of this heart-stopping romance.

I was DYING to get my hands on this book. After reading the first two, which were phenomenal by the way, I needed to know that Vincent & Eve were going to be o.k.

REDEMPTION takes place seven years after the events of the RECKONING.
This book seemed slightly different than the first two and both Vincent & Eve changed. Vincent is still an asshole, but a more toned down version. He's changed and it's all for Eve. As for Eve, I found her quite ignorant at times. There must've been a part of her that had to question why Vincent did what he did. But once the air cleared there was still a lot of work to be had if they were going to make their relationship work.

As much as I liked REDEMPTION, I really could've used a little more closure on certain things. For example, if I'm being honest, I wish a certain villainous character would've gotten punished more instead of simply disappearing. I also had several questions that I wanted answers to, but I think that's just me being super picky.

Overall, I really enjoyed the trilogy, though the second book was my favorite of the three. Definitely recommend this trilogy for all angst lovers.

Blog Tour & Review ~ #Player (Hashtag #3) by Cambria Herbert

Title: #Player
Series: Hashtag Series
Author: Cambria Hebert
Genre: NA Contemp/College Romance
Release Date: March 9, 2015
Players gotta play.

Hate is like a poison. It contaminates everything.
So does doubt.
Even though I deny what I overheard, even though I insist it isn’t true, the seed of doubt has been planted. I can’t help but be tormented with the endless what-if’s that have taken over our lives.
Romeo and I were happy in love. The future stretched before us brighter than any star in the darkest sky. Now everything is broken. Literally broken. Romeo’s entire career is at stake, my entire future is threatened… and my past?
It’s coming back to haunt me.
To haunt us.
Romeo says we’re in this together and right now the only sure thing is us. But how far can a love so new be pushed? The lengths we will have to go to save each other puts everything at risk.
Romeo is a #player but how much of the game can one person play?
4 #Amazing Stars
The final instalment of Romeo and Rimmel’s story and boy was it a heart stopper. I highly recommend reading #Nerd (Book 1) and #Hater (Book 2) before jumping into this story. It has everything you could possibly want; suspense, love, laughter and tears. Cambria Herbert pulled out all stops on this one.

At the end of #Hater Romeo and Rimmel’s relationship is put to the test. More challenges thrown their way then most couples have to endure in a lifetime together. My heart hurt for them but I could not wait to see how they took it all on, if they would stay united and fight or if life would become too much and tear them apart?

One night is all it took for Romeo’s world to be turned upside, his dream of playing in the NFL jeopardised by an injury that was out of his control. Romeo’s need to protect the one he loves could have cost him everything he has worked so hard for. Would he ever play again? What would this mean for his future? Waiting to read his fate was nail biting. While his world was crumbling around him his main concern was always Rimmel. Her safety and her happiness always came first. He determination to ensure Rimmel and their relationship was not under threat was staggering, you couldn’t help but cheer him on hoping he would get his HEA.

“Romeo says we’re in this together and right now the only sure thing is us. But how far can a love so new be pushed?”

Rimmel’s life has been put on hold. Her future hangs in the balance; her life is taking hits every which way she turns. I began to wonder how one comes back from so many blows. Rimmel’s strength was inspiring, no matter how many punches life through at her; she got up swinging. She always put the ones she loved before herself, something a lot of women can relate to, I’m sure.
When her past collides with her future, it’s scary, not something I was expecting at all, the suspense was crazy, I couldn’t read fast enough, or tell you the amount of times I held my breathe. You can understand Romeo’s desperate need to protect her.

The growth these characters show from #Nerd (Book 1) makes my heart smile. #Player was the perfect way to end such a fantastic story between two young people whose love really did conquer all.

Romeo is a #Player and he always wins ;) !

Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than twenty books. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.

Besides writing, Cambria loves a caramel latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching movies. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chorkie (the real boss of the house).

Cambria has written within the young adult and new adult genres, penning many paranormal and contemporary titles. Her favorite genre to read and write is romantic suspense. A few of her most recognized titles are: Text, Torch, Tryst, Masquerade, and Recalled.

Review ~ The Falcon Club: Falling for him (Book One) by Amy Stephens

Synopsis
The Falcon Club:
Falling for Him (Book 1)

Erica Kennedy was excited about starting her freshman year of college at State University with her best friend Monica. Out of the blue, her parents surprised everyone with a divorce that quickly turned nasty and she was forced to change all of her plans for the fall. Now, no longer attending State, Erica enrolls in Bishop University, a local four-year school geared more for older, working adults and those serving in the military at the nearby Air Force Base.

Being one of the younger students, Erica feels out of place. With two of her classes actually being on the military base, she’s even more uncertain because the classes there are filled with good looking military men along with another interesting group who wear gray jumpsuits bearing the name The Falcon Club.

One guy in particular, Jaime, catches her attention and she can’t resist the urge to find out more about him.
Not sure if it’s luck or just coincidence, Erica is placed in a study group with Jaime and the mystery behind his gray jumpsuit becomes even more intriguing as does her attraction to him. What she thought was just an elite military group turns out to be so much more.

In discovering the truth, can she stop herself from falling even more for him or will she take her chances and risk everything for a relationship with him?

FOUR AWESOME STARS!
After reading the synopsis I could not pass up the opportunity to read this book. I was intrigued, the whole girl meets boy involving University, Military and mysterious grey jumpsuits???

Erica is a 19 year old girl who thought she had her life mapped out, she would graduate from high school senior year, be attending university with her best friend Monica, they even found a cute little apartment to share… Everything was perfect until her parents announced they would be getting a divorce and her college fund was now gone due to lawyer fees!

She would now be attending Bishop University, fees were cheaper YES, she would also be living close to home to save on rent, but it was not the university she had in mind. It was filled with students that were older either already in the workforce or studying to better their career. Also Erica was also not happy to learn that she would be travelling across town to attend 2 of her classes on the Military Base!

It was here that she would meet 32 year old Jamie, slicked back dark hair, deep dark chocolate eyes, broad shoulders and bulging upper arms and wearing a grey jumpsuit that fitted his body perfectly in all the right places. There of course was an instant attraction between Erica and Jamie! Erica needed to know more about this mysterious man who sat next to here in the grey jumpsuit with some kind of symbol and “Falcon Club” written on his pocket… Was it a fraternity or some sort of program? Or was it related to the Military?

Erica and Jamie we put into the same group to work on a class assignment, here they are able to spend more time together and the intense flirting begins! Even though Erica is trying to get closer, Jamie is trying to keep her at a distance because in his eyes Erica can do better and deserves better than him. What will happen after Jamie graduates and moves back to Miami with his family? Will Erica follow her heart? Will Jamie want her, or will he try to protect her from his past?

“Erica” He whispered my name. “It was never my intention to hurt you, not ever. I’m sorry. I’m just so scared. My life. Your life. This wasn’t supposed to happen.”

This book has it all, romance, intensity, mystery, there are a quit few hot and steamy foreplay scenes that lead up to a point where they can no longer hold back! And of course the cliffhanger, what will happen with Erica and Jamie? We will find out with book 2 The Falcon Club: Falling For Her, told from Jamie’s point of view.

Release Blitz & Review ~ Dirty Ties by Pam Godwin

Revenge.
I race to finance it.
I evade to protect it.
I kill to attain it.
I planned everything.

Except her.
The alluring, curvaceous blonde at the finish line.
With sapphire eyes that cheat and lie.
Whose powerful family murdered mine.

I hate her.
I want her.

I know she’s hiding something.
But so am I.

Four Stars

the strongest love begins from a place of conflict.

I LOVE Pam Godwin. I look forward to every book she writes. I know that when I pick up one of her books, I know I’ll be in for one hell of a ride...every. single. time. This story of revenge was no exception.

“A man like that fucks like he rides. With intimidation, recklessness, and unharnessed energy. He’s powered by adrenaline and takes what he wants without care.”

Logan is out for revenge. He watched his mother’s murder and he wants those responsible for it to pay the price. His pathway to revenge is not simple; it’s complicated. Secrets, blackmail and lies pave the way to his rise to power. He will take no prisoners. He will kill anyone who gets in his way. His secret identity must remain intact until all the pieces fall into place. He will not get distracted. Until he sees the mysterious woman riding away after his race. He must find out who she is.

She was my connection to life, my reason for fighting. She was why I felt so alive and wild and terrified.

Complicated doesn’t even begin to describe Kaci’s life. She lives two lives: the one everyone sees and the one she lives. She craves love that her husband cannot provide her. Though they love each other, it’s a different kind of love. Sure, they sometimes include each other in their hot sex life, but she wants something all her own. Enter in the mysterious motorcycle racer – the man who haunts her dreams and fantasies. Their worlds are about to collide. This ride just got more interesting.

I wanted to bite him, slap him, punch him again. More than that, I wanted to make him mine. I wanted his anger, his ferocity, his pain. To claim every part of him, fuse it with all of me, and make us a singular while.

This was classic Pam Godwin: A hot, sexy-as-fuck-fast-paced read with a lot of twists and turns. The lust between Logan and Kaci is palpable. Though Ms. Godwin is known for dark reads, this was far from it. It’s full of drama with lots of wild and sexy times. Definitely a hot read.

He knelt over my attacker, his strength visible in the stretch of the jacket over his back and shoulders. His helmet cocked, angled in my direction. “I had this.”
Oh my God, his voice. Okay, it was definitely synthesized, his timbre humming with an electronic overlay, but it was deep and gravelly and so goddamned sexy.
Pull yourself together, Kaci. He was far more dangerous than the man who just attacked me.
“Get out of here.” I nodded to the street behind me, and as if on cue, another squad car zoomed by. “I’ll hold him until you’re gone.”
What was I saying? I didn’t want him to leave.
I thought I heard a chuckle, but couldn’t be sure with the whine of sirens and exhaust pipes. He looked back at my attacker, swung an arm, and knocked him out. Damn. Okay, that worked too.
I lowered the gun. “You won the race?”
“Of course.” He rose and erased the distance between us in three strides.
My nerves shivered, overloaded and amped up, and oh God, he was just standing there, heating the air around me, staring at me. What did he want? I opened my mouth to spew a gushing thank you.
He snatched the gun from my hand.
What the? “Give that ba—”
He lifted my chin and stroked a gloved finger over the nicks on my throat. Each caress irritated the cuts, but I didn’t want him to stop. He raised the finger in front of my visor, blood soaking the leather tip. “Have you learned your lesson?”
His voice reverberated through me, and my knees weakened. Even with the electronic distortion, he sounded pissed.
My heart panted, and a throb swelled, hot and needy, between my legs. All because of a pissed-off synthesized voice? I might’ve just swallowed my self-respect, but I couldn't help it. My body had one mission, and that mission vibrated against me like he wanted to tear me in half. Damn me to hell, but my inner muscles clenched at the thought.
I touched my throat and flinched at the bite of pain. “It’s just a scratch.”
The reflection of my helmet in his visor wavered as he shook his head. He gazed down on me as if he were…considering something? God, I wished I could see his face, his eyes.
His finger returned to my throat, trailed a path beneath my chin, lifting it and catching on the edge of the helmet. He tugged it, like he wanted to rip off the shield and see my eyes, too. “Get on your bike, sweetheart.”
He flicked the safety on the gun and gripped my shoulders, turning my body to face the bike. Both bikes. His and mine side-by-side. Oh, how I loved the sight of that.
His fingers touched my hip, slipping beneath my jacket to stroke my bare skin. I trembled against the brush of his glove, until he opened his mouth. “This is your last race.”
The temperature in my helmet rose by ten degrees, and my cheeks inflamed. I glared at him over my shoulder. “Excuse me?”
Smack. A stinging jolt of fire rippled over my ass, and I shuffled forward. He fucking hit me! I placed my hands on the bike’s seat, and unbidden, a grin took hold of my face. He fucking spanked me.
