Synopsis:
*****THIS BOOK CAN BE READ AS A STANDALONE*****

Being the daughter of a big-city mayor, twenty-one year old Skye Summers has giant shoes to fill in her first real job out of college. With the public spotlight on her family, and her dad’s expectations running high, she jumps at the chance to work side-by-side on an important project with her sexy new boss.

Playboy entrepreneur Landon Steele has built a successful entertainment PR firm and broken more than a few hearts along the way. He’s counting on his enthusiastic new assistant to help him expand his business into LA… until he discovers she’s a pampered rich girl who’s in the public spotlight as much as his famous clients. Still, he agrees to give her a chance, and soon the two are heating up the bedroom as well as the boardroom.

But when Skye’s ex-boyfriend threatens to reveal a dangerous secret from her past, her job, relationship with Landon, and her father’s career are suddenly all on the line. Will she be forced to leave Landon? Or will she pursue her heart, regardless of the cost?

Four Stars

When I first started reading Picture Perfect, I wasn’t sure it was going to be my cup of tea. There’s a lot of insta-attraction going on at the beginning; however, I was quickly pulled into the story.

Skye Summers has just started her new job as personal assistant to Landon Steele. He pretty much thinks she won’t be able to handle the job once he finds out about her background. I liked Skye very much. She grew up in a hard-working, well-to-do family, and she’s determined to do her job well even if her heart races every time she’s near her sexy boss.  Maybe it has to do with how they really met *smirks*. The feeling is very mutual for Landon, too, and pretty soon lines are being blurred.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at how much I liked Picture Perfect. I had not read the first book, but I quickly figured out the theme of this series. Skye’s friends Ellie and Mason (from Rumor Has It) make an appearance, and I pretty much got the gist of what happened to them. In this book, Elisabeth Grace continues with the theme of how to deal when one gets put into an extremely awkward and unwanted situation. Picture Perfect is way more than just a heated office romance. So much goes on outside the office as well. Ms. Grace’s writing flows. I love that she gives Skye and Landon a fun and flirty romance. There were also unexpected twists and surprises that kept my rapt attention! If you’re seeking a new adult contemporary romance with loads of sexual tension and dual POV, be sure to check this one out.

*Review copy was received, and this is my honest review.
