Five Stars

I have seriously had this book on my kindle for almost a year! Not sure what took me so long to read it but I am thrilled that I did!! I completely understand the large number of 5 star reviews!! I LOVED IT!!

I mean, I loved it so much that I can't stop thinking about Nox and Lily, and it's been a few days now!! What an amazing couple and a crazy, strange situation to bring them together. It was kind of original and I really just want more, more, more!!

I wasn't sure what to expect, I mean despite the cover and title, I knew it wasn't a dark romance but I didn't expect to laugh throughout. Not that I think it was really supposed to be funny but some of Lily's internal dialogue had me laughing right out loud. I loved her crazy spirit and I actually hurt for her when she went on her little unexpected hunger strike of sorts. Now....Nox, he was just delish! Right from the beginning you knew there was so much more to this quiet, strong, brooding man - and who better to bring that amazing man out that sweet(and sassy) Lily!!

Oh, and yeah, I cried at the end, and a little in the middle! But I promise a HEA :) Enjoy y'all!

My name is Catarina.
Or, that’s who I was christened to be, anyways.
I live in a convent. I am a nun in training. A postulant.
I am eighteen years old.

I am a predator.
No one is safe from me.

I am protected.
No one can get to me.

By day one way, by night another. They call on me.

My name is Catarina.
Codename: Night Fury.

No one is safe from me.

I will come for you.

Teaser
"I trail her down the dark, dimly-lit hall. The sounds of our footsteps echo through the narrow space. I’m walking towards my destiny. How poetic. We reach the end of the hall. Frankie clicks in her keypad code. More humming and buzzing, the steel door clicks opens and finally – finally – I’m home. I take the first step towards the rest of my life. And I do it wearing a shit-eating grin. This is exciting. I’m excited. My life will be thrown one-hundred-and-eighty degrees. From boring to extraordinary. I can’t wait. “Welcome back to Mirage.” Frankie utters as she starts her descent down the stairs to the ground floor." - Catarina, Night Fury

About the Author
Belle Aurora
Belle Aurora is was born in the land down under.

At an early age she fell in love with reading. Boredom one summer had her scouring the bookshelves at home. She stumbled across Sandra Brown’s Breath of Scandal and fell in love with romance.

Having been brought up in a loud and boisterous family of Croatian descent, she developed a natural love for dramatics and humor. Only some years ago had she discovered a new love.

Humorous romance novels.

Kristen Ashley and R.L. Mathewson had opened a brand new world where she could lose herself yet feel safe and at home in their stories. Belle has been known to become a screeching banshee while anxiously awaiting their newest titles.
Belle never thought she would write. It had never interested her until recently. Her first novel, Friend-Zoned began to form and in February 2013 Belle typed the words Chapter One. And she fell in love.
With words.
With writing.
With a creative imagination she never knew she harbored.

Giveaway!
In this moment, I’m happy. In this moment, I’m not Catarina the postulant, or Cat the orphan, or even Night Fury. I’m just a young woman with a crust on a guy who seems to like her, too.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I saw this book, but I knew Belle Aurora wrote it so I had to give it a go. The synopsis sounded intriguing, especially since the heroine is a postulant. I was like, “what the fuck?” Seriously? A nun in training? Will this be some sort of forbidden romance type story? Or is there something else going on? There was only one way to find out.

My lesson that day was simple. I am a gift and this is God’s will.

The story first begins with Catarina’s training, but what exactly is she training for? Another oddity is who is training her -- the answer: A priest. But as the story goes on, it becomes a little clearer that these people are more than they appear. Things start to get more interesting when Catarina receives her first assignment as well as meet her team’s newest member – Marco (Codename: Flamethrower).

My logic on this is simple. After tonight, after what I did, I don’t feel as if I have a right to remain pure. I want to be tainted, to be as imperfect as my job. I need to be dirtied, and Marco can do that for me.

I’m not a fan of serial novellas because ninety-nine percent of the time, the story is left unresolved and we have to wait for the next installment. This is no different. It was really hard trying to figure out what was going on in such a short period of time. By the time the story started to pick up, it just ended abruptly. Part of me wants to read the next installment, but this didn’t really give me enough to want to continue; I kind of wished it ended in a different place, that way, I had a little bit more to go on. Does that make sense? I don’t know. We’ll see when the next one releases.

Love Thy Neighbour (Friend-Zoned #2) by Belle Aurora

Asher 'Ghost' Collins and Natalie Kovac shared a passionate night together. One neither of them can forget.

So why is it so hard for them to be around each other?

With no hope of the two getting along they decide to go their separate ways. And somehow end up closer than they've ever been.

Will friendship ever be enough for the pair?

4.5 Stars

“Say it, baby.”
It dawns on me and with a small smile, I tell him sincerely, “I love you, Asher Collins.”
Looking pained, he closes his eyes and rests his forehead on mine. He whispers, “Don’t deserve you. Not even a bit. But as long as you want me, you got me.”
My eyes close and I whisper, “Don’t leave me. Ever.”
“Never. You’re my girl,”

The first book in the series, Friend-Zoned, was so much fun to read, so I was beyond excited when this book came out early. Not sure if it’s the writing style, the characters, or if it’s the duel POVs, but then again, it could be the combination of everything that’s making me a huge fan of this series. Once again, I found pure reading enjoyment :)

This is Nat and Asher’s (a.k.a. Ghost) story. Both characters were prominent in book one, where we bore witness to their constant bantering; their strong personalities constantly clashing. It’s safe to say that these two are very similar in attitude, which is NOT a good thing...trust me. However, that did not stop them from hooking up in the conference room one night; a night that neither could ever get over.

"I get a sick, twisted sense of enjoyment seeing her all riled up.”

After their one, hot, steamy, memorable night in the conference room, they try to avoid each other like the plague. Their circle of friends, with the exception of Tina, know nothing of their moment of weakness that one night. Its quite well known that the two do not get along.

Nat is a freaking spitfire; I was immediately drawn to her character. She’s confident, strong, and has a tell-it-like-it-ispersona. After reading the first chapter, I knew instantly she deserved to be in my heroine makes me want to turn bi shelf. LOL!

I feel strongly for her. Stronger than I’ve ever felt for anyone in my life and knowing she’s mine makes me feel like I can do anything. Overcome anything.

As for Asher, he’s sexy, badass and has a quiet dangerous quality about him. He does NOT do relationships. He’s led a harsh life and if it wasn’t for the help of Nik and his family, he could’ve turned out even worse. Nat is his dream girl; a girl in which he feels like he doesn’t deserve.

Months after their encounter and of avoiding each other, they found themselves surprised when Nat moves right next door to him. They decide to call a truce. Their friendship soon turns into something more, though they both decide to keep their relationship a secret. For now, at least, they want this for themselves. But how long will this arrangement last? Will Asher be able to overcome his past to be the man Nat deserves?

One side of his mouth quirks up, he lowers his forehead to mine and he quotes me, “You and me. We’re the same kind.”

Loved. This. Book. The relationship between Asher and Nat was not only hot, but also very emotional. They just get each other. But it wasn’t all drama, though. I found myself smiling, a lot. Yep, lots and lots of funny and amusing moments.

I can’t wait to read Max & Helena’s book next. Max is so awesome. He’s a loving father and just an overall sweetheart. For him to be paired up with Nat’s sister, Helena, whose studying to be a physical therapist, is a perfect match; I can only imagine what kind of magic she can do with Max’s daughter, Ceecee. Plus, she’s Nat’s sister! If Asher wasn’t in the picture, Nat and Max would’ve been a great match. OMG. I can go on and on about this series. Just read it! It’ll make you smile :)

4.5 Stars

I want to protect her from everything that’s bad in the world. I want her to need me. But we’re friends. And friends don’t do shit like that.

I love, Love, LOVE friends to lover type stories, and this story is as awesome as it gets. This was so freaking cute! I had such a toothache from smiling so much. OMG, this story has everything: Strong Alpha Hero, a loveable-non-annoying heroine, a wonderful cast of supporting characters (whom I can easily see myself being friends with, too), tons of humor, and just the right amount of drama. So good!

“So we can be friends, right?”
(Wait, what?)
I stare at her, a frown forming at my mouth.
(Did I…? Did I just get Friend-zoned?)
I look over again to see Tina nodding vigorously and smiling brightly.
Wow, this has never happened to me before.

Nik didn’t know what to do when Valentina (Tina), just waltz into his life. At first, he didn’t know if she was going to be a typical woman; only wanting him for his money and connections. He was pretty sure that’s what she wanted. Until she friend-zoned him. So here they were, a new friendship formed.

Tina was all about being Nik’s friend. Yes, he’s sexy and smart, but she wasn’t ready for that type of relationship, yet. Being a friend to Nik would be enough for now.

“You’re pussy whipped.”
I claim, “I can’t be pussy whipped. I haven’t even had the pussy to be whipped!”
(Take that, Ghost! Oh, wait…)
He chuckles, “That’s even worse, bro.”
(Fuck me, it totally is.)

Nik has never had a woman friend before. What is he suppose to do with her? He didn’t expect the hurricane that is Tina. All the little things she does for him completely leave him dumbfounded. Slowly, he starts to see something in Tina; something that he didn’t even know he was looking for. Suddenly, he wants to make their relationship more, but is too afraid to ruin what they currently have. Can they make the jump?

“You’re it. The one. The start. The finish. You are how my story ends.” ~Nik

OMG! Nik totally made me swoon. His slow transformation was so much fun to read, and Tina…I just loved her character. She never came off as fake or annoying. She was a breath of fresh air. Nik never stood a chance. As for the supporting characters, I LOVED each and every one of them, especially Asher (a.k.a. Ghost) and Nat. I cannot wait to read their story next!
